T Wilkerson5 StarI had a truly awesome experience today while visiting Ulta Beauty in Hiram. I've been searching for a new foundation and concealer for a few weeks. I've visited numerous Ulta stores in the area and NOT ONE person offered the customer service, and attention that I received from Ms Kat. She was extremely knowledgeable with regard to melonated skin tones. She offered products that were complimentary to my hyper-pigmentation and skin type. She was successful in matching me up perfectly.
**All this while suggesting the most appealing scents for my loves birthday gifts (both of which I bought).
I'd certainly shop with Ms Kat again as she did an outstanding job of creating trust through her knowledge of the products in that location. SHE restored my desire to even shop Ulta again (only this location though). Im grateful.Saturday 6th July 2024

Oso. Whitt1 StarEXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL MANAGEMENT!!! I went in one afternoon for lipgloss and a few shades of lipstick. A women approached and complimented my hair and offered to do my hair. I agreed and we agreed only my split ends would be cut and that we would do a black to red balayage. Throughout the process the lady doing my hair was pleasant, very sweet had no problems with her. A little aggressive on my scalp but nothing i couldnt deal with. Unfortunately i was not satisfied with my haircut afterwards. 3-4 inches of my hair was cut off, my bangs were cut way too short to my liking (which she said herself she shouldve asked), the red is brown (she didnt use a strong enough volume it is what it is) and theres a random orange spot on the side of my head. I went home and washed my hair because whatever she sprayed on it made my hands feel gross. I wrapped my hair in a towel and once i took it off the towel had a bleach spot (these towels are new) Overall not satisfied enough to come back. I call management and complained the first manager i spoke to was nice and informed me i could get a color correction no charge. Again not comfortable enough to go back so i said no i would like a partial refund she told me i needed to speak to the GM who would be in the next day. So i called the next day and had the very unpleasant experience with her. To start off the conversation all she did was tell me how i was wrong about everything and tried to belittle me. She cut me off every chance she got. Told me that she looked at the cameras and only 2 inches were cut off my hair (kinda ridiculously to call out without a ruler or an up close view 🫤) then to later say she couldnt see my hair color because the cameras had bad angles (great contradiction) I told her my bangs were too short her response “youve never been to beauty school so you must not know what curtain bangs look like or how hair color deposits” ive been dying my own hair for years and have gotten curtain bangs for years 🙃 she made the same offer that i could come in and get it corrected no charge. I told her NO on five different occasions and asked for a partial refund. She said she could do it but she kept pushing for a color correction I told her no one more time and she told me i was being ridiculous and that i didnt understand how easy it would be. I got completely upset and started yelling at her (bad on my end) that i didnt want anyone in that building to lay a finger on my head. She got quiet and agreed to the partial refund, but because of what i had to go through just to receive basic customer support is ridiculous to be talked to like i was dumb and belittled. Not even given decent respect to let me finish a sentence is ridiculously and extremely unprofessional. I will never be going into this store ever again.Monday 9th October 2023
Shakila Dewan1 StarI visited an ultra store to exchange a lipliner that wasn't working. The cashier was initially willing to facilitate the exchange, but unfortunately, she required manager approval. The manager, upon just a glance, declined the request. It's worth mentioning that I was wearing a hijab at the time.Sunday 25th February 2024
