Janice Romero graduated from the New York Institute of Beauty’s Esthetics Program after attending NYU and the Fashion Institute of Technology. She started her first beauty business while living in Los Angeles at the age of 24.

After returning to her hometown in New York, she worked as a licensed esthetician at a top cosmetics practice. She became certified in eyelash extensions by Liquifan Lashes and was trained by one of the premier lash artists on Long Island.

In 2015, Janice began her career as a microblading artist. She was trained and certified by international microblading expert and instructor, Rebecca Chung, of the PrincessBrows Academy in Hong Kong. Janice became a licensed tattoo artist in New York initially and performed microblading at a medical office before opening up her own business.

In the fall of 2015, Janice moved to Atlanta and opened her second location, XO Beauty Studio. Since then, she has performed brow tattooing on thousands of clients and has maintained excellent ratings and reviews on Yelp, Google, and Facebook. In 2017, she trademarked Hybrid Brows™, her signature combination of microblading and machine shading.
